As a non-profit organization set up in 2009 in Sichuan, China, ProlifiGreen strives to improve the living of people trapped in poverty and victimized in an earthquake hitting Sichuan and neighboring provinces on 12 May 2008. The founders are all passionate people with different professional background volunteering in the reconstruction after the earthquake claimed tens of thousands of lives, and destroyed millions of homes and most public infrastructure.

The name "ProlifiGreen" represents the two objectives of us: poverty reduction - by being prolific, and environment protection -- by being green.
